Neighbourhood Watch

Flynn’s Neighbourhood Watch is an active group of community-minded people who encourage residents and neighbours to do their bit to make Flynn a safe and friendly place to live. The group previously met regularly at Flynn Primary School but now meets at the Labor Club in Charnwood on the second Wednesday of every second month.

Most streets have a Neighbourhood Watch contact who distributes the newsletters and generally keeps a friendly eye on things.

Neighbourhood Watch does more than this. The group was an active partner with Flynn Primary School before it was closed in 2006, running breakfasts and barbeques, Fathers’ Day events and more. It has since supported the community’s attempts to regain the school and community centre. Members have also been involved in working for several years to help establish a cooperative medical centre at nearby Charnwood, which opened in early 2010.

Neighbourhood Watch newletters should appear in your mailbox about the first week of the month.
